Feather & Hay’s Bandanna Scarves are made to be worn by folding over the square scarf into a triangle. To then tie at the neck or use a scarf ring to fix: See Dotty Daisy Cornwall for scarf rings. The clever design gives the option to fold the scarf in different ways to get different looks. It gives plenty of warmth without the bulk of a long scarf. Beautiful Christmas gift from my husband (repeatedly sending him a link to the website did eventually pay off!). I’d asked for a snood, but so glad he ignored me and bought this instead.

As the description says, it’s beautifully soft. The colours are lush, the orange-red is so vibrant, and there are occasional shots of green running through. Gorgeous and autumnal. I’ve used a kilt pin to hold it in position – I’ve made it such that I can leave the pin in and pop it on and off over my head (fear of pulling threads!). Looks great with neutral tops, or over a burgundy jumper I have. Really warm too!

I hope this is the beginning of a beautiful collection…
