Community Weaving Project Bandanna Scarves

Beautiful mix of soft hand painted Cotton with a choice of lilac Tencel or Gold Merino Wool weft:

Community Weaving Project Bandanna Scarves

The Community Weaving project began earlier in 2018. The concept was to weave a warp based on suggestions and votes from those that follow Feather & Hay via social media. Feather & Hay has a tester & chat group on Facebook where much of the decision making was finalised. To read more on the process and choices made along the way click here.

In the Community Weaving Project Bandanna Scarves the colours shift and change throughout the warp. Look out for swirls of purple, blue, burnt orange, yellow, green and turquoise - the hand painted warp makes each piece us unique.

Feather & Hay's Community Weaving Project Bandanna Scarves are approximately 69cm square with a small fringe on two sides. The beautiful hand painted Cotton warp gives a scarf that can be worn in many ways; whichever way it is folded different colours will be highlighted. To wear, simply fold the Community Weaving Project Bandanna Scarf into a triangle and then tie or pin at the back of the neck.

Feather & Hay bandannas include:

  • 50% hand dyed Cotton 50% Lilac Tencel
  • 50% hand dyed Cotton 50% Gold Merino Wool
